The Adam and Eve Dilemma

I was a tad frustrated by the crappy, confusing translation Hello!Project provided for "Adam to Eve no Dilemma". They mentioned in the descriptions for one of Juice=Juice's videos that their translation was literal and apologized for anything confusing in it or something, but the thing about Japanese and English - literal doesn't work. Japanese and English have very different grammar rules, and both languages have different ways of understanding things. So I decided to try and translate the song myself in a way that made a bit more sense in English. I apologize for anything that is incorrect or doesn't make sense. I did my best. I hope you can understand it this way if you couldn't understand it they way H!P translated it.

Note: I'm still really bad at differentiating when something is talking about the singer, or the other person being referred to. So in instances where the situation has "I" and "you" the actual meaning might be interchanged.

Even though I planned on accepting everything about you,

I'm jealous about the part of your past  that you don't want me to know about.

Nonetheless, I love you, and I want all of you.

When you run away, I just want to chase you.

Rather than saying “I love you”

I want you to show me how much you love me.

I have to be able to feel your love, more than what's expected,

Before I’m swallowed up by this immense loneliness.

The only thing I can think to do is embrace you

I have experienced your kindness

I also know that these tears are real

They’re not just to test you

But in the end you selfishly made it out to be like that

Even for the things you “did for me”

You still demand some reward for your actions

I'll just keep telling myself that a 50:50 love

Definitely wouldn’t be any fun

So there's nothing for them to fear
